Mummified ‘aliens’ found in Peru have 30% DNA of an ‘unknown species,’ new analysis claims

The mystery of Mexico‘s ‘aliens‘ is deepening after an analysis claimed the DNA of tiny corpses is not human but of an ‘unknown species.’

The nation’s Congress has been a circus for the past two months as controversial UFO enthusiast and journalist Jaime Maussan has held court several times to prove the mummified remains found in Peru are extraterrestrial life.

In his recent attempt, Maussan ushered in a team of researchers who performed a DNA analysis on the figures that showed 30 percent is ‘not from any known species’ and stated that the figures were ‘authentic,’ comprising a single skeleton.

Planet X in our time?

Some people say that the image below, taken from this Google Sky link is the mysterious Planet X.

screenshot of Google Sky showing a strange, winged-looking, orange object
Is this strange shape recently revealed by Google Sky the mysterious Planet X?

There has been some controversy about this segment of sky in the Google tool as for a long time it was blacked out, showing a rectangular area of black. Google has been accused of hiding things on maps. (See 24 Places Google Maps Won’t Let You See for alleged examples.) Some of the so-called censorship seems to simply be a way of dealing with problem data. I imagine keeping accurate information on the entire planet up-to-date has some challenges and everyone who’s ever had something go wrong with a photo can probably relate.

So what about this Planet X? It’s worth reading Planet X for Dummies to catch up, but, in a nutshell, there is an old idea of a rogue planet that moves through our solar system rather than traveling in a nice orbit around the Sun. Planet X, or Nibiru as it is sometimes called, is associated with alien visitors, global disasters and any number of things that might alarm you.

Some claim that this strange, winged looking object in the picture is a revelation, that Google is finally releasing this to the people. If it is a planet bringing space gods and disasters, I’m not really sure what we do about it. There it is, though. You can see it yourself on Google Sky by tuning into these coordinates.

If you feel the need to prepare, we found a handy video on how to make a tinfoil hat.

And, because it’s just cool… here’s a bonus video on using your foil to make a fire. (batteries not included)

Which aliens are you rooting for?

You’re stopped on a deserted road, responsibly pulled over as you text your friends. Suddenly, the phone goes dead. The car goes dead. You are stranded in the dark in the middle of nowhere. A light, as bright as the sun, erupts in the darkness and you are chilled to the bone as you realize you are about to have a close encounter with alien life. But which ones will it be?

According to the article,  The 6 Alien Species Currently Fighting for Control Over Earth, not all aliens are alike. Does this seem fantastic to you? Then maybe you missed this interview by former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyer, as he went on international television to discuss his personal knowledge of 4 major species. Here is an excerpt from this interview.

The full, half-hour interview is available on YouTube. We talked about Mr. Hellyer’s startling perspective in a previous article from 2011. He has not strayed from his story and continues to promote his belief that we are being watched and warned to get our act together.

Does that sound familiar? It’s the plot of a 1951 movie called The Day the Earth Stood Still. We found a radio adaption of this classic story broadcast by the Lux Radio Theater on January 4, 1954. You can listen here or download the mp3 for some drive-time entertainment. Is Hellyer recalling a famous science fiction plot, or is this story a reflection of real events?

Are we being visited by creatures from another world? Are they genuinely interested in our well-being, or are we just curiosities to them, to be studied and experimented on as we would with rats and insects? Have you had an alien encounter? Tell us about it!

Could Mysterious Radio Signals Be E.T.?

SETI

Is it possible that SETI has finally found what it’s been looking for — an extraterrestrial message from deep space?  Apparently for some time now, scientists have been receiving these unusual radio signals, and are at a loss for what could explain them.

From the Huffington Post:

What are those things?

For the past eight years, astronomers have been scratching their heads over a series of strange radio signals emanating from somewhere in the cosmos. And now, the mystery has deepened.

A new study shows that the so-called “fast radio bursts” follow a weirdly specific pattern — a finding that the researchers behind the study say “is very hard to explain.”

“There is something really interesting we need to understand,” study co-author Michael Hippke, a scientist at the Institute for Data Analysis in Neukirchen-Vluyn, Germany, told New Scientist. “This will either be new physics, like a new kind of pulsar, or, in the end, if we can exclude everything else, an E.T.

Alien signals, really? That might sound far out, but a leading scientist in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) says we shouldn’t rule out that possibility.

The Salesman, The Lights, His Alien Lover and a Mummy

The Place: The Appalachian Mountains

The Time: 1965

The Story: Pretty wild, man.

Meet Ralph Lael, a furniture salesman who was scouting a mountain in North Carolina that was famous for what was called “The Brown Mountain Lights”. On certain nights, many claimed that mysterious lights would rise up from the forest and into the skies. Pre-1947 and the beginning of the UFO craze, they were believed by Native Americans and early settlers to be ‘spirit lights’, but of course after…

But back to Ralph…he encountered these lights, and in a very direct way: “I’m frightened, don’t know what to do,” he wrote. “One light moves forward. It is now about ten feet from me and it is glowing. I could read a newspaper by the shining of it. It is ten to twelve feet across. Almost a perfect circle. It has a brown center that does not look solid. The shape of the brown center is like a tumble bug but without a head standing on its back end. Not touching the ground but suspended in the center of the glowing ball. It seems to have three hands or feelers protruding out from each side.”

Ralph claimed in the book he wrote about his experiences that after learning to communicate with the light using basic yes-no questions, it led him through crystal walled tunnels into a secret cave base in the mountain where he met an alien race called The Pewam. They took him to the planet Venus (which he said was made entirely of crystal), warned him about the dangers of nuclear science, and totally let him nail a hot alien chick named Noma who showed up to greet him in just a bra and panties.

….

Yeah, that too. I kinda want to get abducted now.

After he was brought back, he says he found a small mummified alien body in one of the caves and he brought it back to town where he displayed it in a glass case in hit furniture store for years until he died and the store was bulldozed….AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BODY!!!

alienmummy

Naturally, stories of the Men in Black showing covering up evidence immediately surfaced, but many have more reasonably tied the mummy to being a sideshow attraction created by the legendary Homer Tate. Regardless of it’s earthly or unearthly origins, we still don’t know what happened to it.

Ok, so Venus isn’t made of crystal, and Ralph was almost certainly a huckster trying to attract folks coming to see the lights (which appear to be a real and probably naturally occurring phenomena), but it’s certainly more fun to imagine Ralph on a sexy space adventure.

Sheep Getting Slaughtered by Laser-Happy UFOs

black-sheep-face-off

Well, now we know why the sixth sheik’s sheep got sick. That is, if his situation is anything like that happening to the farmers in the English county of Shropshire.

Farmers there report their sheep are being “lasered” by lights coming from UFOs. Which would be fine if the aliens thought they were cats and were just trying to get them to play. But no, these lasers are causing “neat holes” in the animals and their brains, eyes, and other internal organs are being removed.

The UFOs in question have been witnessed by multiple members of the Animal Pathology Field Unit who described the experience as, “For a short while it looked more like a Star Wars battle.” No reports are forthcoming as of yet as to ewe shot first.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: FLASHBACK COMICS RETURNS WITH MUSEUM OF THE WEIRD!

Steve Busti, owner of the world-famous Museum of the Weird in Austin, Texas,  proudly announces the relaunch of Busti’s original comic book company from the 90’s, Flashback Comics, with their first new title in almost 20 years: Museum of the Weird!

Busti is returning to the comics industry, where he got his start in 1994, with a new comic series inspired by his own acclaimed tourist attraction in Texas.  He says the stories will be along the lines of an anthology, inspired by individual exhibits in the museum’s collection, but tied together by a cast of characters, including none other than a fictionalized version of Busti himself.

“The Museum of the Weird comic will have a heavy supernatural influence”, Busti says, “as well as deal with stories of  the fantastic and the unexplained, which includes delving into subjects such as aliens, ghosts and cryptozoology.”

The first issue, a special preview edition numbered #0, is available now at the Museum of the Weird’s gift shop, Lucky Lizard Curios & Gifts, and through their website, luckylizard.net.  It features original stories and art by Steve Busti, Lyle Blackburn and Eerie Eric. The series is planned to be available quarterly, with the next issue coming in early January 2014.

ROSWELL DEBRIS WITNESS JESSE MARCEL JR. DIES

Jesse Marcel Jr., one of the last witnesses to the Roswell debris (inset of his father)

It is a shame that 66 years after the Roswell crash we STILL don’t know the truth… and with one of the last credible witnesses having passed away now, I fear we never will.

Marcel Jr. was one of the last surviving witnesses to the debris recovered during the Roswell incident.

Dr Jesse Marcel was the son of Major Jesse Marcel whose involvement in the recovery of debris from the Roswell UFO crash in 1947 had made him a household name. First on the scene following the incident, Marcel Sr. famously appeared in a series of photographs taken of the debris strewn out on the floor, materials that the United States military would later claim to be the remains of a weather balloon experiment.

Following the retrieval of the debris, his father allowed him to have a look at the strange materials which included beams marked with undecipherable symbols and a mysterious type of metal that would spring back in to shape when bent. Despite the level of controversy surrounding these events Marcel stood firm to his words and never changed his story, a fact that many in the field see as a testimony to his sincerity and dedication to the truth.

Jessie Marcel Jr. was himself a keen disclosure advocate and made several public appearances to tell his side of the story including the recent Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure. He also wrote a book on his experiences called “The Roswell Legacy” which detailed the events as he recalled them.

Dr Marcel died of a suspected heart attack at his home at the age of 77.

‘ALIEN HEAD’ UNEARTHED IN CROATIAN GRAVEYARD

Medjimurje Mayor Ivan Stefic holding the "alien head."
Medjimurje Mayor Ivan Stefic holding the “alien head.”

I have no idea what this thing is that the mayor is holding, but I wouldn’t mind having it on display in the Museum of the Weird!  Mayor Stefic, if you’re reading this… call me!

A baffled mayor has asked scientists to examine the remains of what be believes to be the head of an alien dug up by workers in a graveyard in Croatia.

The twisted, soft-bodied remains – which seems to have a beak-like mouth in the centre – were unearthed in Medjimurje where gardeners were extending the local cemetery.

A second section – believed to contain what looks like a heart – was also recovered.

“It scared the life out of me to see that thing staring up out of the ground,” said one worker.

“The really strange thing, though, was the smell. Most things that come out of the ground don’t smell too good.

“But this smelled very sweet, like aftershave or perfume,” they added.

Mayor Ivan Stefic, seen here holding the head, explained: “It was found about one metre under the surface and gave the workers quite a shock.”

“We have got it safe here at the Town Hall until the scientists take it from us.

“I know it sounds crazy, but we can’t think of any more rational explanation for what we’ve found,” he added.

ROSWELL ANNIVERSARY, MUSEUM TO GET UFO DEBRIS?

FE_DA_121019ufo425x283

Here’s an interesting bit of trivia.  Today, July 8th, was the very day 66 years ago that the legendary UFO crash supposedly took place in Roswell, New Mexico.

I don’t know if it’s a cosmic coincidence or another incredible bit of providence on my part, but I’ve just been contacted by a man who claims to have some actual debris from another UFO that crashed somewhere here in Texas over a hundred years ago!  He contacted me after he learned about the Museum of the Weird from the Minnesota Iceman article in The Huffington Post last week.

I’m thinking perhaps this guy is either trying to take me for a sucker or he’s just plain nuts, but I’m definitely going to follow up on this either way…  you never know!

Speaking of the Huffington Post, here is their report on the Roswell anniversary:

Exactly 66 years ago today, the Roswell Daily Record shocked the American public with its headline, “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch In Roswell Region.” Decades later, there are still conspiracy theories and questions surrounding the legendary Roswell UFO incident in New Mexico.

According to the July 8, 1947 edition of the local paper, a rancher told authorities at the Roswell Army Air Field that he’d discovered a crashed flying saucer on his property. Army Maj. Jesse Marcel, an intelligence officer, reportedly recovered the “disc” and flew it to headquarters. It was never seen again, and the air field issued a press release later stating that the saucer was actually a weather balloon.

Marcel’s son, Jesse Marcel Jr. later told HuffPost Weird News reporter Lee Speigel that he was shown pieces of the UFO by his father.

“There were these I-beams about 12 to 18 inches long, and the most unusual part of that was the symbols or writing on the inner surface,” he said previously. “I thought, at first, it was like Egyptian hieroglyphics, but when I looked closer, it seemed more like geometric symbols of some kind — it was very strange.”
