Some new and incredible information has come to us since we posted about this story just yesterday!

Inexplicata writes:

Mexico: UFO in a Mountain Crater?

MEXICO (ANSA News Agency) An alleged elongated object entered the crater of the Popocatepetl Volcano, 65 kilometers distant from the Mexican capital, causing astonishment and confusion among experts and the public alike.

On October 25 at 20:45 local time, a camera from the TELEVISA TV network that monitors activity in the giant volcano captured the image and immediately unleashed a firestorm of discussions. The object’s measurements would have been 1 kilometer long by 200 meters wide, flying at a speed greater than that of an airliner, according to scientific estimates.

However, the majority of experts, like astronomer Julieta Fierro, a renowned science popularizer, took a more skeptical stance. Fierro believes that it cannot be said for sure if the object fell within the crater or if it is in fact “a galaxy 20,000 million light years away. It could be something incredibly distant moving behind the Earth,” she said.

A similar opinion was voiced by William Lee, a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences, who said it was “a video error, given that there was no visible interaction between the object and the atmosphere and gases emanating from the volcano.”

Raul Rivera of the Servicio Meteorologico Nacional (National Weather Service) said it was “an object whose composition is simply unknown to us.”

What looks like debris flying from the volcano is said to be UFOs coming in close to watch and study mother nature's firework display.

Looks like humans aren’t the only ones appreciating mother nature’s beautiful display of natural fireworks. Two ufos were caught on live television during a news report of an active volcano named Popocatepeti near Mexico City, Mexico.

Examiner.com writes:

October 11th was a bust day for UFOs over Mexico. Besides the Giant Jellyfish spotted over Tijuana, not one, but two UFOs were caught on national television. Scott Waring who compiles UFO Sightings Daily in The Canadiandocuments that what began as a routine news report on the eruption of the Popocatepeti Volcano, bordering the states of Puebla and Morelos, not far from Mexico City, turned into a field day for UFO spotters.

UFO Sightings Daily is coordinated by Scott C. Waring. He had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base (USAF flight line). He currently owns an ESL School in Taiwan

Photographs broadcast during the news program show globe-shaped objects at different points in the sky above the volcano. To many viewers, they may have seemed no more than debris flying heavenward, part of the molten rock being spewed out by an angry volcano. But volcano watchers and ufologists will tell you that this is by no means the first time that these glowing globes have been spotted above this particular volcano, which is the second highest peak in Mexico.

The anchor for the news that day, Lopez Doriga, remains baffled by this sighting, saying, “This is the first time in my long career covering the news that I have seen something that I could not explain. I just cannot say what they were, but they should not have been there.”

What things are hiding behind the warning signs and guards of Area 51?

It would seem like Area 51 still has many secrets to be kept behind locked doors, barbed wire, and guards with rifles, and you would think the security there would be extremely tight, right?  Well, a 12-member team filming for a BBC televsion show wondered around ON BASE for almost an hour without being seen or questioned, that is, until they knocked on the window of a room with guards eating dinner and watching tv.

Daily Mail writes:

This is the moment a BBC film crew were held by security teams at the notoriously secretive Area 51 – where conspiracy theorists believe the American government is hiding a flying saucer.

Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell and UFO expert Darren Perks sneaked past the border at the site  – and were forced to lie on the ground at gunpoint for three hours while the FBI checked their credentials.

It is the same ‘documentary’ team that caused outrage in Britain last week when they suggested that the 7/7 London bombings were part of a government conspiracy to boost support for the Iraq war.

The ‘UFO: Conspiracy Road Trip’ documentary, airing next Monday, will show how the BBC film crew were arrested at gunpoint.

They were forced to lie on the ground for three hours as guards surrounded them armed with M16 assault rifles.

The crew, 12 people in total, were investigating Area 51 in Nevada – where the U.S. military allegedly hold the bodies of aliens and the remnants of ships which crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.

As they crossed the border, military officers arrested them, confiscating their phones, wallets and identification.

Darren told the Mail Online: ‘Basically the concept of the trip was to tour across California, Arizona and Nevada with comedian presenter Andrew Maxwell and four people who had an interest in the UFO phenomena.

‘We went to Area 51 in Nevada firstly because it’s related to the UFO phenomena and secondly so we could do a night time sky watch to see if we could spot anything unusual.

‘On May 14 we arrived there at approximately 5pm.’

‘We drove to the nearby township of Rachel which is the closet public residency to Area 51 base and drove down a dirt road to the ‘Back Gate’ of Area 51 officially known as ‘Rachel Gate NT TR Boundary North’.

‘We stopped the tour bus approx 50 metres from the restricted area barriers and started to film.

‘There was no one around, no guards, no vehicles – nothing.

‘We filmed for approximately 30 minutes and tried to call the guards but there was no one there and no sign of them.

‘So we all decided to walk past the barriers onto the restricted area past the security huts and basically onto Area 51. Nothing happened….’

He continued: ‘We filmed again for another 30 minutes and even messed around doing a silly dance, but still no guards.

‘Then one of the other stars of the trip pointed out that on looking through one of the security hut windows, she could see the guards all sitting down eating dinner and watching the basketball game on TV. They did nothing.

‘So after a few more minutes and a few more picture taking and filming, one of the crew decided to speak to the guards and knocked on their hut door. All hell broke loose.’

‘The guards rushed out with their weapons and forced us all to lay face down at gunpoint in the tarmac.

‘We were all searched, had our phones, wallets and IDs taken and the film equipment taken. This was at approx 6:15pm.

‘For three hours we lay face down until the Lincoln County Sheriffs arrived on scene.

‘Things then eased off a bit and we were all then taken one by one off the restricted area to the sheriffs who issued us with a ticket and grilled us about what we were doing. We all got fined £375 each.

‘We were told that this incident was so serious that Washington had to call London to advise that 12 ‘Brits’ had just breached security at America’s most top-secret military base and that we all were at one point going to jail for six months.

‘Luckily whoever it was in Washington was kind enough to just fine us.’

Now,  this seems to be quite the find coming from an unexplored part of an ancient pyramid; a mummified alien!

Before It’s News writes:

The body of a perfectly preserved, carefully mummified an alien was found buried in an ancient pyramid. A mysterious creature from between 150 and 160 centimeters was found by an archaeologist near Lahun when exploring a small pyramid near the Dynasty doceaba of Senusret II. However, this fact was not revealed immediately. “The mummy of what appears to be an alien, dates back more than 2000 years and it seems it would be a humanoid” said a source at the Egyptian Antiquities Department, who provided details and photographs of the find but did so under condition anonymity. “
Some online sources said that this is a species-being for its fur and reptilian traits that characterize them, such as their eyes, too large and oval shaped. Inscriptions on the tomb of the mummy showed that the king was a counselor named Osirunet, meaning star or sent from heaven. ” The mummified body was buried with great respect and care, accompanied by a number of strange objects far from the archaeological museum managers can not identify.

John Reed has been a Bigfoot tracker since the age of 10.

A man in Pennsylvania claims to have been vandalized while camping in the woods, not from local kids causing trouble, but from Mr. Cryptid himself, Bigfoot!

ABC News writes:

A Pennsylvania man has his eye on a large, furry and elusive suspect who he accused of vandalizing his 1973 Dodge Winnebago.

John Reed, a self-described Bigfoot tracker since the age of 10, said he was camping with his girlfriend when he saw the creature walk past his motor home window.  Reed said the Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, reportedly threw rocks at his mobile home’s outside light to escape discovery.

Reed, who is the founder of the Lykens Valley Sasquatch Hunters, and his girlfriend, jumped into their truck and gave chase, making special ‘Bigfoot calls’ to locate the creature.

“As soon as I did it, something stood up on her side of the truck,” he said.  ”She seen the eyes glaring in the light of the truck, stood up and walked this way into the woods.”

This alleged sighting is the third time Reed said he has come into contact with the creature.

“Do I believe in Bigfoot? Yes I do,” he said. “Have I had sightings of what I believe to be Big Foot? Yes.”

While police believe the damage may have been caused by vandals, for Reed it was a warning from Sasquatch to get off his territory.

A worker holds up a fuel pump nozzle after filling up the tank of a car at a petrol station in Cairo October 3, 2012. REUTERS/Mohamed Abd El Ghany

This is amazing! I always say we’re finally in the future, folks, and here’s more proof to back me up! Scientists in Britain have begun being able to create fuel for the common vehicle from carbon dioxide and water pulled right out of the air!

The Belfast Telegraph writes:

A small British company has produced the first “petrol from air” using a revolutionary technology that promises to solve the energy crisis as well as helping to curb global warming by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Air Fuel Synthesis in Stockton-on-Tees has produced five litres of petrol since August when it switched on a small refinery that manufactures gasoline from carbon dioxide and water vapour.

The company hopes that within two years it will build a larger, commercial-scale plant capable of producing a ton of petrol a day. It also plans to produce green aviation fuel to make airline travel more carbon-neutral.

Tim Fox, head of energy and the environment at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London, said: “It sounds too good to be true, but it is true. They are doing it and I’ve been up there myself and seen it. The innovation is that they have made it happen as a process. It’s a small pilot plant capturing air and extracting CO2 from it based on well known principles. It uses well-known and well-established components but what is exciting is that they have put the whole thing together and shown that it can work.”

Has a Dallas area photographer caught the East Texas Bigfoot on film?

Although, not much of a believer in the elusive Bigfoot himself, he truly feels he’s captured something quite rare with his own camera!

KLTV in East Texas writes:

There have been reported sightings of bigfoot in remote East Texas locations, and even near Dallas, and a photographer says he has proof that bigfoot may be closer than we think. The Dallas area photographer, who remains anonymous , was never a bigfoot believer by his own admission.

“No, I’ve never seen one , never believed in one,” he says.

But a huge stone thrown at him in the woods one camping trip, with no one else around, changed his mind.

“An object landed within ten feet of us that I know of no human being able to throw it that far. There was one about 10 foot tall. A family group drew in close, three of which got within 15 feet of me. It looked like something out of a Steven Spielberg movie, not human as I know it,” he says.

He shot images in Shelby county of something moving in the woods. Outside of Dallas he shot images of something large and hairy watching from the trees. But light and shadow can play tricks. East Texas bigfoot researcher Mike Hall and his team from Texla crypto zoological research examined the images to see if they have merit.

“Some of the shots you can actually make out what looks like a pair of eyes. There is something there staring back at him taking video. There is something there, question is, what is it?,” Hall says.

One shot looking very similar to the Roger Patterson bigfoot film of 1967. A crest or conical ridge on what appears to be the head.

“The cone looking head, in the still shot that’s very compelling, something definitely moving across the brush just observing,” says fellow researcher Larry Parks.

The photographer is keeping his identity anonymous but did say he would be releasing more video evidence in the future.

A family in Scotland had strange lights dancing in the skies above their farm for over 5 hours and kept them so scared they couldn’t sleep!

Watch the footage taken by the husband at news.stv.tv/scotland

STV News writes:

An Aberdeenshire family were left terrified after a UFO invaded the skies above their home for nearly five hours.

Grandmother Morag Ritchie, 50, awoke suddenly at 2am on Saturday to see strange lights circling in the distance a few hundred yards from her rural property near Fraserburgh.

In the video, taken by her daughter’s fiancee, Scott Bower, a row of flickering lights can be seen hovering in the sky, before one of the lights moves off to the right and disappears.

Ritchie, who woke up her family to witness the event, said: “I saw lights in the sky and thought it was a strange looking star. When I looked closer, I realised they were moving in a spinning motion and then occasionally something shot off to the side. I kept going back to my bed but I was so unsettled that I continued waking up.

“When Scott looked at it, he was shocked; he didn’t think it was real. Even my husband, who is very sceptical, was convinced there was something strange going on.”

The group ventured outside to film the paranormal object that was seen occupying the same spot for almost five hours.

Ritchie, who is known for her role lobbying the government over fishing quotas as a Cod Crusader, added: “It’s like nothing I have ever seen before. I have seen Chinese lanterns and aircrafts at night and this was nothing like that.

“I was quite apprehensive going to bed, I just kept wondering if it could see me. I wasn’t happy to be outside; I didn’t want to walk about my garden alone.”

When Ritchie woke at 7am, the spectacle had vanished but she remains disturbed by the unexplained object that awoke her that night.

Ritchie’s daughter Cara, 27, said: “It was really scary, I’m actually still scared just in case something happens; like the alien invasion in Mars Attacks.

The Sasquatch shown above goes right over a 4ft fence.

Here’s some pretty interesting footage posted recently on YouTube. At first watch, it seems like it’s just a guy in a bad monkey costume hopping over a little fence, until you realize that the fence in question is actually over 4ft tall!

Watch the footage here:

Ghost Theory writes:

The following video was uploaded to YouTube under the title “Bigfoot Footage – Texas Fence Climber film“. I’ve never seen this video before, nor have I heard anything about it in the Bigfoot/Sasquatch circles.

The poor quality video –aren’t they all?– shows a supposed Sasquatch running through a habituation site somewhere in Texas. From the video you can see the humanoid creature running alongside the tree-line before stepping over a fence.

One giant eyeball coming right up!

Something, somewhere is having a little trouble seeing clearly right now and, whatever it is, it’s big. What could this huge eyeball possibly belong to? What unknown sea monsters of the deep have eyes this big? Could it be an ancient dinosaur that survived the ice age in the dark recesses of the worlds’ oceans? Read more and leave a comment with your own theories!

The Huffington Post writes:

South Florida beaches are usually places where people find sea shells, tiny crawling creatures and a shark tooth here and there, but a man walking on Pompano Beach Wednesday came across something out of the ordinary.

A giant eyeball.

Large enough to fit into his cupped hands, the beach stroller made a few calls and eventually got in touch with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, who had an interest in his discovery, Carli Segelson, spokeswoman for the FWC told HuffPost Miami.

“This is definitely an unusual situation, where an eye would be found independent of any other body part,” she said.

Later in the day, an FWC employee came to pick up the blue-and-purple-colored eyeball and put it on ice. It will be shipped to the FWC’s Fish and Wildlife Research Center in St. Petersburg, where staffers hope to make an identification.

“It will probably take a little while to identify the eye,” Segelson said.

Artwork by Paul Smith from Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America?

Our buddies over at Cyrptomundo have got quite a find on their hands here! They have found a very interesting and unpromoted (meaning the person who posted it isn’t looking for attention) video posted on YouTube!

Check out this lucky find for yourself and let us know what you think!

Cryptomundo writes:

The image may be clicked to enlarge it. Does the Pine Ridge Bigfoot look like this one drawn by Paul Smith for the cover of my book Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America?

Reports from the Oglala Sioux Nation (Pine Ridge Reservation), South Dakota, regarding what is described as Big Man or Bigfoot have been discussed here at Cryptomundo from the beginning of this site. These have includied Pine Ridge sightings from July 28, 2006, an update for more encounters on July 29-30, 2006more from August 2006 of a Bigfoot being shootanother August 2006 sighting, reports on the 2006 police audio (here and here), the police chief confirming the 2006 sightingsmore on the 2006 “stovepipe hat” Bigfoot accounts, and a September 2006 update. Click here and here for more Oglala Sioux updates through 2009.

Yesterday, I discovered this video on YouTube that seems to have been overlooked from a few months ago. It has many features about it that look credible. Take a look.

Two 10 am Updates:

The running speed of this alleged Bigfoot compares favorably with the running alleged Bigfoot in the Memorial Day footage.

Interview items placed at YouTube. This video has flown under the radar of Sasquatch investigators, and I note the filmmaker & poster have not promoted it at all. The increase in viewer numbers is only due to its posting here at Cryptomundo at midnight on Tuesday October 9, 2012.

CommentMaker1: Why would you not walk out from behind that screen and get a better look?

VideoPoster: idk [I don’t know] It was my grandmaa taking the footage. I actually followed it a little more and saw it cross the street…

CommentMaker2: Not sure what to think, can hardly see it.

VideoPoster: Idk… It ran from the corner and my grandma saw it :/ I didnt know what to think.. It ran across the street and into the woods. It was like …8 or 7 ft… reall tall :/

Does the proverbial 'light at the end of the tunnel' actually lead somewhere?

Here’s some news that seems to be shaking up the science world as of late. After a neurosurgeon had a near-death experience, he claims to have been to Heaven and returned and is now explaining how it’s possible, scientifically.

The Daily Beast writes:

As a neurosurgeon, I did not believe in the phenomenon of near-death experiences. I grew up in a scientific world, the son of a neurosurgeon. I followed my father’s path and became an academic neurosurgeon, teaching at Harvard Medical School and other universities. I understand what happens to the brain when people are near death, and I had always believed there were good scientific explanations for the heavenly out-of-body journeys described by those who narrowly escaped death.

The brain is an astonishingly sophisticated but extremely delicate mechanism. Reduce the amount of oxygen it receives by the smallest amount and it will react. It was no big surprise that people who had undergone severe trauma would return from their experiences with strange stories. But that didn’t mean they had journeyed anywhere real.

Although I considered myself a faithful Christian, I was so more in name than in actual belief. I didn’t begrudge those who wanted to believe that Jesus was more than simply a good man who had suffered at the hands of the world. I sympathized deeply with those who wanted to believe that there was a God somewhere out there who loved us unconditionally. In fact, I envied such people the security that those beliefs no doubt provided. But as a scientist, I simply knew better than to believe them myself.

In the fall of 2008, however, after seven days in a coma during which the human part of my brain, the neocortex, was inactivated, I experienced something so profound that it gave me a scientific reason to believe in consciousness after death.

I know how pronouncements like mine sound to skeptics, so I will tell my story with the logic and language of the scientist I am.

Are these two prints evidence of a Bigfoot with an offspring?

Our good friends over at Cryptomundo have pointed us in the direction of a recent photo of some supposed Bigfoot prints found on the banks of a knee-high and chilly creek.

The Faceboook user Brad Crawford posted this on the Hardcore Outdoors Fan Page:

If I hadn’t seen this myself I’d NEVER have believed it! We parked the boat on the west bank of an old slough this past Friday evening about a mile from our very secluded camp, hunted, killed the hog I posted a pic of that same night, drug

the hog out & went back to camp. That night the temperature went from 79 degrees to about 45 degrees with 40pmh gusting winds all night long, there was a man with his wife & young grandson that were camped next to us but they were fishing & I know for a FACT they never left camp that night because I was sleeping close to our boats. Saturday morning we fought the wind & waves up the cove & into the same slough from the night before, parked the boat in the same spot & there were these tracks. Whoever or whatever left these tracks waded across the slough in about knee deep water in the middle of the night in 45 degree weather in their bare feet, the tracks were very visible across the shallow water all the way up onto the bank till it hit gravel & they were gone. They were NOT 15 to 18 inches long like I’ve always heard but were about 12 to 13 inches long but the tracks were pressed deep into the mud, my buddy Shawn was with me & he is 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 385 pounds & wears a size 14 boot & he couldn’t push his foot that deep in the mud beside the tracks! Another thing about these tracks is that the right foot seems to be missing the little toe, I SWEAR I didn’t pay much attention to the little track next to it till I got it on my computer just now. I sent it to a good friend who is also one of my cameramen last late night via cell phone & he asked me about the little track & I told him it looked like the rear foot of a raccoon. Now, on the bigger computer screen it looks like a miniature version of the big track! I can’t honestly say what I think about this but here’s the pic & the real story behind it, you be the judge!

Terry the Sheep, has the ability to twist his head upside down!

Here’s a a story that’s a little different, a sheep in the UK has the odd ability to turn it’s head complete upside-down!

Terry the Sheep, who was born with an extremely curved spine, has lived into adulthood with this starnge ability.

Here’s video posted on YouTube by Allen McNamara:

Ghost Theory hilariously writes:

In our latest segment of “The Strange World Of Sheep” comes this story about a sheep who obviously has his head on backward, or upside down as it were.

A bloke named Allen McNamara filmed the wooly bugger named “Terry” in the UK and the video has since been a smash hit.

Since there’s not much more to say, I believe I will now run around in circles waving my arms and screaming until someone smacks me in the face….or I realize I’m an idiot, whichever comes first.

From what I understand, Terry was born with a curved spine that allows him to twist his head upside down. According to local sources, it was determined that Terry was otherwise fine and fully capable of living normally, albeit the occasional bumping into things and not knowing who he’s mating with. I’d be inclined to believe that Terry has a distinct advantage though, as the females might be getting tired of the same old standard looking sheep they’ve dated over the years.

Some are claiming that the whole thing is a hoax, however it’s obvious that Terry was sent from Fukushima. Am I right? Huh? Yea!

OK, that’s all I have. Now, go about your business and leave me alone.

Thanks to Allen McNamara for providing this upsidedownlifting story. Get it? I took “uplifting” and made it int….alright, forget it.

A drawing from the government's declassified files showing "Project 1794" in action.

Well, those who believe in UFOs understand that they are most likely coming from another planet but, recent declassified documents from the US Air Force show that the UFO’s the world has been seeing, may have come from us!

You can see some of the earliest tests from the US Air Force of a real flying saucer below and, if they had made that much progress back then, imagine what’s possible today.

Wired writes:

Officially, aliens have never existed but flying saucers very nearly did. The National Archives has recently published never-before-seen schematics and details of a 1950s military venture, called Project 1794, which aimed to build a supersonic flying saucer.

The newly declassified materials show the U.S. Air Force had a contract with a now-defunct Canadian company to build an aircraft unlike anything seen before. Project 1794 got as far as the initial rounds of product development and into prototype design. In a memo dating from 1956 the results from pre-prototype testing are summarized and reveal exactly what the developers had hoped to create.

The saucer was supposed to reach a top speed of “between Mach 3 and Mach 4, a ceiling of over 100,000 ft. and a maximum range with allowances of about 1,000 nautical miles,” according to the document.

If the plans had followed through to completion they would have created a saucer, which could spin through the Earth’s stratosphere at an average top speed of about 2,600 miles per hour. Wow. It was also designed to take off and land vertically (VTOL), using propulsion jets to control and stabilize the aircraft. Admittedly the range of 1,000 nautical miles seems limited in comparison to the other specifications – but if you’d hopped on the disk in New York it could’ve had you in Miami within about 24 minutes.

Does this photo show a weather balloon, parachute, or an authentic UFO from another world?

While trying to catch a photo of the natural wildlife of the Greek Islands, tourists caught a little something extra on film that wasn’t seen until they looked back through the photos at home. Not ones to jump to conclusions, they tried to figure out just what on Earth it could be but, it seems it may not be from this planet at all.

Ghost Theory writes:

I’ve seen a lot of UFO pictures in my time, but occasionally one comes along that for the life of me, I just can’t logically explain. Now I have to depend on our UFO ID expert Henry and I’m not so sure even Henry can come up with a feasible explanation on this one.

A German couple out photo-journaling the day last month got a big shock while going through shots they had taken along Balos Beach, Gramvousa in Crete.

There are obviously goats in the foreground, however, up in the sky, we can see an oddly shaped metallic object. My first inclination was a bird as it does have some shape aspects that tend to lean that way, but the reflection of the sun off the metal-like surface tells me something different. What that something may be, is where I get stuck.

Has an investigative team caught a full-bodied appartition on film, or is it just a shadow?

Ghost Theory writes:

Strange. The Anomalist recently posted a link to an interesting YouTube video in which is said to show a “full bodied apparition”.

“My paranormal team investigated a 120 year old building (now a deli) and while investigating in the raised ceiling area (now a walk-in attic) we caught one of the most amazing pieces of evidence we’ve ever seen.
This evidence has been seen and analyzed by Paul Bradford of “GHI”, Bill Murphey of “Fact or Faked”, Micah Hanks & Scotty Roberts the Founders of “Intrepid Magazine”, Founders of “Mufon”, Dr. Rita Louise, UFO expert Anthony Sanchez and others from around the Paranormal community.”

An interesting list of well-known investigators are listed as having reviewed the video. No mention as to what their conclusions were, but it’s an impressive list. (shout outs to my friend the famous Mr. Hanks)

The video shows an interesting dark shadow moving in an erratic manner in some dark attic. Nothing more, nothing less.

A former Air Force Colonel claims the government is actively covering up UFO reports and incidents.

Could the “Men In Black” be a real agency linked to the United States government? One Ex-Air Force Colonel certianly thinks so, and wouldn’t he be one to know?

The Huffington Post writes:

LAS VEGAS — Former Air Force Col. Charles Halt accused the federal government of a UFO cover-up that involves a secret agency to deal with what might be extraterrestrial visitations.

“I’m firmly convinced there’s an agency, and there is an effort to suppress,” Halt told an audience of 200 people Saturday night at the Smithsonian-affiliated National Atomic Testing Museum.

Two former Air Force officers who were part of the infamous Project Blue Book — the military’s official UFO investigation in the 1950s and ’60s — and a former investigator with Britain’s Ministry of Defense were among the panel of speakers for a program entitled “Military UFOs: Secrets Revealed.”

Halt, pictured below, was the deputy base commander of the RAF Bentwaters military base in England and one of numerous eyewitnesses to several UFO-related events at Rendlesham Forest in December 1980. He believes the observed UFOs were either extraterrestrial or extradimensional in origin.

“I’ve heard many people say that it’s time for the government to appoint an agency to investigate,” Halt said.

“Folks, there is an agency, a very close-held, compartmentalized agency that’s been investigating this for years, and there’s a very active role played by many of our intelligence agencies that probably don’t even know the details of what happens once they collect the data and forward it. It’s kind of scary, isn’t it?

A man in Idaho caught something a little out of the usual the other day.

I’ve been fishing many times, and have my fair share of “it was THIS big” stories as well but, Calvin Nolan of Idaho has a story that’ll rival many anglers best tall tales. He found a human finger, well preserved, in a fish he caught!

CNN writes:

It’s a fish tale almost impossible to believe.

A fisherman found a human finger in the belly of a trout caught in a remote northern Idaho lake. And detectives located the owner, who delivered a surprising message.

Despite the hard work of investigators, Haans Galassi said he did not want to be reunited with his severed digit.

“At first the sheriff asked me if I wanted it back, and I was thinking ‘um, no!” Galassi, 31, said.

The reunion may bring back too much pain for Galassi, who is getting over the accident two months ago on an Idaho lake.

Galassi was wakeboarding on Priest Lake in July while holding on to a rope attached to a speed boat. Then things went terribly wrong.

He noticed too much slack in the rope, tried to correct it and the rope wrapped around his left hand, he said.

“It pulled me over in the water and dragged me for a few feet before it broke me free,” Galassi said. “I didn’t feel pain at first, just numbness, and I pulled my hand out of water and it was bad news. I look and see I’m missing all four fingers at that point.”

Galassi was rushed to the hospital and has been trying to get by without his fingers. He learned that he can still grip and grab items such as a steering wheel with his affected hand.

And then he got the strange phone call Tuesday from Det. Gary Johnston of the Bonner County Sheriff’s Department.

The fisherman who found the finger on September 11 quickly put it in a freezer and called the sheriff’s department, Johnston said.

“The lake is cold and deep so it was in remarkably good shape,” Johnston said. “We’d fingerprinted it and sent it to the state lab to match what’s on file and lo and behold, they came back and said that’s Haans’ little finger.”

Fisherman Calvin Nolan told CNN how he made the grisly discovery as he gutted a trout caught by his friend Mark Blackstone as they fished together.

He had noticed something in the gut of the fish that he thought looked like a crawdad, or crayfish, which they had been using as bait — but Blackstone said, “No, that’s a finger.”

Bigfoot? Deer? Chupacabra? With a photo this blurry, it could be anything.

My belief in the almighty Bigfoot is based on common sense and some words from the foremost knowledgeable person on primates and monkeys, Jane Goodall. She basically says that the chance of them existing is incredibly high with the vast amount of untouched and truly un-examined Pacific NorthWest of America that, if there was something in there and it didn’t want to be found, that wouldn’t be a problem. If you’ve ever flown over the area, it’s a vast land of nothing but tree tops and canopy for miles upon miles, upon miles.

Today’s story comes from a picture submitted by a reader of Field & Stream Magazine caught on his own trail cam usually used for tracking the wildlife in the area. This creature on the other hand seems to be anything but the usual deer or fox.

Ghost Theory writes:

Fresh off the presses over at Bigfoot Evidence, this Bushnell trail cam photo contest entry (whew!), stands widely apart from the rest. A reader from Field & Stream submitted this interesting photo of a slightly intriguing animal dashing by.

Definitely an interesting photo to say the least. At a quick glance, the stalwart creature looks bipedal and oddly shaped. At a closer inspection, the oddness becomes a bit more revealing. Take the hind legs for example. They’re shaped more like a deer’s hind quarters than the anatomy that we’ve come to accept as what a Sasquatch should have. Next, take a good look at the front appendages. Either those are deer-like hooves or this Sasquatch is suffering from the T-Rex syndrome.

Now, onto the dubiousness that is to be the creature’s head. It’s puzzling. I’m really not sure what to say about this one. I mean it seems too anatomically incorrect, against Mother Nature herself, that a creature of that size and that posture can run with its head cocked in such manner. Oh no wait, I got it. I think I see it now. This forearm-lacking Sasquatch is about to eat shit. One of those nature bloopers, which are rarely witnessed by humans, was serendipitously caught by a trail camera.

This photo rightfully deserves to win.

The horse given birth to by a woman in Benin City, Edo State, on Tuesday.

Now here is a truly weird story! A woman claims to have given birth to a foal during a religious ceremony in Nigeria.

Could it be true? Maybe the church’s leader, evangelist Silva Wealth, knows more than he’s letting on.

Apparently, during prayers he had a revelation that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb. Then the woman “gave birth” to the foal.

According to Wealth, “We have seen several things people vomit during our service but not this type of thing.”

Hmm… kinda makes me want to vomit…

The Nigerian Tribune writes:

A woman purportedly gave birth to a foal (horse like) creature, otherwise known as a baby horse, on Tuesday at the World Liberation Ministry, on the Benin-Sapele road old during the church’s prophecy programme.

The strange creature, which threw the church members into panic, had died by the time the church following journalists visited the strange occurrence.

The identity of the woman was yet to be known but some church members said she started screaming during the prayer session and began bleeding from her private part just before the foal-like creature emerged.

General Overseer of the church, Evangelist Silva Wealth, said I was still shocked by what came out of the woman’s womb.

During I said I had a revelation prayers that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb.

According to him, as intensified prayers, the woman started screaming and began to bleed and eventually gave birth to the creature.

Evangelist Wealth could not have said the creature was confirm whether dead or alive because he did not go near it.

“I can not describe the object. We have seen several things people vomit during our service but not this type of thing. God has been blessing our ministry with prophecies and miracles,” he added.

The woman was reported to have gone for medical check-up when journalists visited, just as elders and leaders of the church’s host community, Evboriaria, were said to have launched investigation into the bizarre development.
